World Vision is once again promoting the 40 Hour Famine within churches and schools. Their new website has gone live:

http://www.worldvision.com.au/40HourFamine.aspx

Looks kinda funky and has incorporated social fundraising as part of their strategy to engage more with the public, ie like world's greatest shave.

World Vision would love to see more youth groups and churches jump on board this year as part of their strategy to end global poverty with churches being at the forefront of social change.

Check out a glimpse of what you can do with your church that some churches in South Australia did last year.

If you or your church would like to participate, please feel free to PM me.

Thanks for your time in reading this.

Hey guys, anyone want to sponsor me?

I have my own page 40hf.com/damo which you can donate online to.

I'm going to give up a toilet for 40 hours. It will probably stink in my place but it'll be worth the money I can raise to help out the needy kids in Nepal and Cambodia.

If anyone else wants to have a go at the 40 hour famine in their church, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Cheers
